LET US GO FORWARD TOGETHER to the Imperial War Museum

Sunday 20th March we're going to go get some culture, look at tanks and RAF planes, stock up on retro souvenirs and have a cuppa at the Imperial War Museum. We'll be meeting outside the Rutherford building at Goldsmiths College at 1, and make our way to the museum via a ride on the 172 and a jaunt through Elephant and Castle. Come join!

HOTTER THAN WASABI.

This Monday we'll be attempting to make sushi. As only one of us has ever tried making their own sushi before, it will probably end up looking more like this-

than this-

but we can always dream, can't we? If you wanna come join the fun, RSVP to the facebook event, or hit us up on here. It's going to be at Kitty and Zoe's flat (28B Camberwell Grove) so spaces are limited.

Hey Gals,

Exciting happenings have been occurring here at Goldsmiths W.I. headquarters -

We recently had author Jane Robinson come interview the committee for her forthcoming book, A Force To Be Reckoned With: A History of the W.I. , 'the first full, independent history of the Women’s Institute'.

We had a visit from Health Poverty Action concerning their 'Mothers on the Margins' campaign, which works with indigenous communities and other cultural minorities around the world to improve the health of pregnant women and mothers.

Sofia also had an owl-themed house party and we all had a hoot of a time in our home-made hybrid woodland creature/owl costumes.

Lastly, on Thursday Jess hosted the first of our fortnightly Crafternoons! She's going post more about it later, but get yourself on the facebook group and come to the next meet for more adventures in crafting - upcoming projects include more knitting, bunting, tie dyeing, and quilting!

The next Crafternoon will be on the 3rd of March, so get you knitting needles ready! x
